Meet Paige!

First off, thanks for stopping by! Regardless of what brought you here, I hope you find something worthwhile.This is a professional blog where I will be posting my weekly thoughts on emerging media research, findings, and trends. You name it in regards to communications and I'll probably be talking about it at some point!  In today's ever changing world where stock markets can come crashing down at the reading of a Tweet, it's more important than ever to be knowledgeable about what's out there now in terms of emerging media and, even more importantly, what's to come. A little more about me:
I graduated with my undergraduate degree in English and Public Relations from the University of West Florida in 2011. I am almost half way through my Masters in Strategic Communication with Troy University and hope to graduate in the Fall of 2018.  I am a Florida girl currently living in South Alabama. I am currently the Admissions Counselor for Troy University's Dothan Campus. I have been working in higher education enrollment management for just over 4 years now and see everyday the important role communication in all forms plays on our daily lives.  When I'm not working or studying I love to read (the English major in me will never really go away) and hike. I have two spoiled puppies named Ada and Sadie and a fiance I can't wait to marry in March 2018!
